Tara Long Photography's GOLDEN HOUR Sunset Sessions are the most sought after Springfield Illinois Family Sessions. These sessions are priced differently than regular mini sessions so...PLEASE READ ALL THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE BOOKING!

These sessions take place during the prime time of the day for the best GOLDEN HOUR lighting of the day. This is the best time to capture those awe-inspiring family portraits with the beautiful sunset lighting that we have here in the midwest!

THESE ARE VERY LIMITED SESSIONS DUE TO.....THERE'S ONLY ONE SUNSET A DAY SO ONLY ONE SUNSET SESSON AN EVENING! :)

Dates: April 17, May 9, 13, 16, 23, 28, June3, 10, 18, 26, July 1

Non-Refundable Session fee: $250

If you must cancel the sessions, the payment can be rolled over to another session at a different time. Digital Packages Sold Separately!

Once these dates are SOLD OUT, there will not be any other sunset sessions offered again until the Fall of 2024 Season.

I know for those of you with small children, the sunset hour is the "witching hour" and you worry about children "losing their minds" that late into the evening-LOL, BUT PLEASE DON'T WORRY!!! Kids always rally and do great during the session!!! I recommend having younger children take a nap a little later in the afternoon and also eat dinner a little later than usual on those evenings before you come to the session. Bring along some snacks to the session and some little toys and stuffed animals that your younger children can love on- these little tips always seem to help make the session go flawlessly! The late hour, actually works in our benefit, as small children are usually a lot more snuggly as the evening goes on, and they aren't as active and so love to snuggle their parents during the sunset sessions! It works great! :)
These sessions are only cancelled due to rain and bad weather.

PLEASE NOTE: The sessions are NOT rescheduled due to cloudy/overcast days. You will still get GORGEOUS portraits!

Location: Tara will recommend the best location for your session. The session will be a field location where Tara can capture the Gorgeous Golden Hour Sunset with your family.

Clothing: Once you sign up for a Sunset Session, you will receive the Tara Long Photography Digital Clothing Magazine, which is full of really great tips, ideas, and visual samples for what to wear to get you thinking about your family's clothing for the session.
